Qualitative research in public health

At first, I choose this class for the credit. But the contents of qualitative research is so insightful that I would like to start this research ASAP.

I've learned the mixture of qualitative and quantitative research which sounds good.

Most doctors are skeptical about qualitative research because they believe it is not based the evidence and science. The main misunderstanding of qualitative research is the selection bias and too small sample size; however, the purpose and method of this research differ from statistic analysis the scientists believe.

What opened my eye was that qualitative research builds the hypothesis and discovers the new theory.
