COPDのある患者を対象として、全身麻酔で手術を受けた2500人と区域麻酔を受けた患者2500についての比較。術後の肺合併症率、再挿管率、人工呼吸器依存延長（？区域麻酔群ではそもそも挿管していないのに延長？）について比較した。
肺合併症率 3.3 vs 2.3 95%CI [0.09, 1.88]
人工呼吸器依存延長 2.1 vs 0.9 95%CI [0.51, 1.84]
複合合併症 15.4 vs 12.6 95%CI [0.93, 4.67]
そして30日死亡率には差がなかったと。
あれ、95%CIが全て1をまたいでいるけど、これっていいのだろうか。
どれも差が非常に微妙である。
結論としては区域麻酔の方が良いということなのだが、区域麻酔が絶対的に良いと言うことはできないような...
