基本コンセプトは 「まず鎮痛」 = analgesia fitst
鎮静に関してはプロポフォール、ミタゾラム、デクスメデトミジン
デクスメデトミジンは24時間規制がとれて使いやすくなった。
せん妄は予防できるか？
まずせん妄を評価する必要がある。 評価ツールとしてはCAM-ICUやICDSCが広く利用されている。

せん妄のリスク因子には認知症、高血圧、アルコール飲酒歴、疾患重症度があるが、年齢については確定していない。
